Nobody gave me the life i wanted to have. I was miserable, thinking i lacked the life that i so clearly deserved and wanted. Guess what. No one came. All the waiting for Christmas. Family Time. Vacations. For years, i was at home not doing anything, being in my head going on about why i can’t have it. Live it. Do it. I searched for reasons and i found them.
So what. So i stepped up, i looked for something that made me excited behind imagination and persuaded it. Just to discover, i was the only one holding me back from everything i ever wanted. I was the one sabotaging my life. Big time.
Dream big. Stop thinking about why you can’t have the life you want and start thinking how to get one step closer to it. Ask your mind how and it will answer. Look for things that excite you and start doing them, create a life worth living. Day by day. Get out of your mind.
Our unconscious mind has its own thinking patterns, chances are that you are not fully aware of them and that they are standing in your ways. We attract what we think. Basic law of attraction rule. So we need to train our mind to switch our focus from lack to prosperity, from poor to rich, from suffering to gratitude. Here are some simple ways you can practice to think prosperous.
Uno. Challenging the unconscious.
This is a fun one. Every time you pass a object you desire or fancy, you have a closer look, smile and say to yourself,:’ I can afford this’. It does not matter if you can, pick a price range that you are uncomfortable with and repeat to yourself: ‘I can afford this’. You are not going to buy it. You are training your mind to get comfortable with money, to think prosperous. Try to add it to your daily life, focus on these little moments. After a few times your brain is getting more comfortable with it and that’s when the real fun is going to start.
You have heard it bevor, it is the basic of every religion, you somehow kinda know that it must be nice BUT listen, it is working. By switching your attention from lack to gratitude you are training your mind to search for good things in your life. And guess what, after a few days or weeks, it will come naturally to you. Have a closer look at your life and write down 5 things that you are grateful for right now. People. Things. Events. Words. Pets. Small things like a good meal, a hot shower. The routines of our lives create who we are, so lets make it a routine to bring into focus what we are grateful for.
When i first heard of them i was skeptic. But you can not really lose by doing it, so i gave it a shot and wrote down 5 and repeated them day by day once or twice. What it does is, it creates a strong sense of trust, trust into life, a trust into the universe. By reprogramming your old beliefs and old thought patterns into new stronger happier ones, you gain freedom of mind and happiness. There are also affirmations on YouTube/ Spotify that you can listen to during your sleep or driving etc. If you prefer reading them to yourself, here is a selection of my favorite ones.
- I have more than enough money
- I am willing, ready and able to receive money
- I love money. Money loves me.
- I am grateful for what I already have and for all that I receive now.
- I am a money magnet
- I am sensible with money and manage it wisely.
‘Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.’ -Steve Jobs
